Herbes De Provence

How many times have you had a recipe call for this and think to yourself, what is this? It’s a mix of herbs that tend to be grown in Provence, France. It’s a french classic spice combo and I’ve got a shortcut recipe here for you! Make up a jar of it and keep it on hand! It’s great in sauces, on roasted veggies, on a roast or chicken or in dressings. Trust me, you’ll use it if you have it made up!


  • 3 Tablespoons dried marjoram
  • 3 Tablespoons dried thyme
  • 3 Tablespoons dried savory
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds


  1. Combine marjoram, thyme, savory, basil, rosemary, sage, and fennel.
  2. Mix well and spoon into a tightly lidded jar.
  3. Store in a cool, dark place up to 4 months
