Scooby-Doo Friendship Stew

Posted on: December 27, 2012

This is a stew that I would make with the kids and their friends. It’s called friendship stew much like the stone soup idea where everyone brings in a veggie and you end up with a yummy pot of stew or soup! When I ran my camp we made this and I had veggie haters eating this like it was pizza! Invite a few kids over, have them bring their favourite veggie and see what happens!

Scooby Doo’s Friendship Stew

  • 1 onion diced

  • 1 can of tomatoes diced or stewed
  • 1 lb chicken breast( or any chicken or meat)
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 6-8 cups of water
  • salt/pepper/thyme
  • 1- 1.5 cups of pasta
  • 2 potatoes

Directions:

  1. Saute the onion, celery and carrot with the chicken.

  3. Once you have a good boil, add the rest of the veggies and bring to a boil.
