Shepherd’s Pie

This is my version of Shepherd’s pie. I cannot eat cream soups so I make my own, but I will use cream soup in this recipe.

You will need:

  • 1 lb of ground meat(beef,turkey, veal, chicken)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups of frozen veggies( any mix will do but I find the smaller cuts work best)
  • 1 can of cream soup (mush, chicken) or a can of gravy
  • mashed potatoes for 4 people (store-bought boxed can be used in a hurry!) I won’t tell!
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese
  1. Mix the meat and egg together, lay into a 8×8 pan.
  2. Over that spread the veggies, then the soup over top all of it.
  3. Place the mashed potatoes over the veggies.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese over top of that.
  5. bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
