Fried Rice

This can be done many ways, I’ll try to give you options !

You will need:

  • 1 cup of rice cooked in 2 cups of chicken broth. Let cool. (Can use leftover rice as well)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup of cooked meat(leftover chicken, pork or beef or shrimp)
  • 1/2 cup of mushrooms sliced
  • 1 stalk of celery minced
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1/2 red pepper or green
  • frozen peas or veg.mix(peas,corn,carrots)
  • 1 -2 eggs
  • green onions
  • soya sauce
  • 1-2 tsp sesame oil
  1. Heat your wok or large fry pan. Sautee your onions,carrots, celery,mushrooms, and peppers till onions are translucent.
  2. Add in your meat and rice. Stir fry till all is blend well and warmed. Add in the egg and stir well to scramble the egg.
  3. Stir in the peas or veg blend.
  4. At the very end stir in the soya sauce to taste and sesame oil and garnish with green onions.
