Tea Cup Bread

This is a recipe I learned a long time ago! It’s fun to do and it’s a bit different for your guests!

You will need:

  • 6 ovenable tea cups
  • 1 loaf of frozen bread dough raw (cut into 18 pieces)
  • 1/4 cup melted garlic butter or plain butter or lemon butter if serving fish
  • 1 tbsp of dry minced onion
  1. Mix the thawed bread dough pieces with the butter and onion pieces.  
  2. Place three pieces of dough per cup(sprayed with a veg. spray)
  3. let rise at room temp for 1-2 hours till top of cup
  4. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes till golden brown.
  5. Place at left side of lace setting on saucer while still warm!
