Seafood Stew

This is a lovely stew if you like seafood! Great for a group with a baguette and some nice Sauvignon Blanc!

Ina large stewing pot, sautee:

  • 1 1lb of fish chunks (basa, tilapia, haddock, any white fish)
  • 1 lb of shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1-3 cloves of garlic depending on your taste buds

Now add:

  • 1 can of clams
  • 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups of tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp of lemon rind grated
  • 1 tsp of basil dry
  • hot pepper sauce to taste

Bring to a boil, once all fish is cooked and tomatoes hot, add:

  • 1 cup of pasta rotini, fusilli, macaroni, farfalle etc
    Let cook 10 minutes or so and serve with baguette!
