Quiche Lorraine

You need a pie crust to start, I use frozen ones, if you want to make pie crusts from scratch…Knock yourself out!

In a deep dish pie crust add:

  • 1 1/2 cups of diced black forest ham
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup of green onions(about 2 onions)

Mix together:

  • 1 cup of mayo
  • 1 cup of milk, cream or any milk substitute
  • 5 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Once blended well, pour the egg mix over the ham and cheese.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes, till a knife inserted comes out clean, not eggy. Should be golden but not browned!

** Another nice quiche is broccolli, cheddar with bacon or mushroom and bacon…so many ways to go, play with the recipe and have fun! Make one of each…go crazy with it!
